Completed in December 2013, Air Liquide’s new 33,000 sqm center supports the production of large cryogenic columns, cold boxes and modular equipment for the Middle East. The facility required durable, precise and efficient construction to match its long-term operational needs.
Air Liquide’s new center was designed to support the production of large cryogenic columns, cold boxes and modular equipment. The project required durable flooring and foundations, along with efficient construction methods that aligned with the facility’s scale, precision needs and long-term operational goals.
Dramix 3D 80/60 BG steel fiber reinforced concrete supported the project by simplifying reinforcement across large floor and foundation zones. Its use helped reduce labor needs, minimize reinforcement congestion and support smoother site progress. The fibers enhanced crack control and long-term durability, important for areas handling heavy cryogenic equipment. With EPD certification and lower embodied carbon, Dramix complemented Air Liquide’s emphasis on efficiency, reliability and sustainability
