Bayer Pearl developed an 8,500 m² state-of-the-art facility in Dubai to support its regional growth. The site at Dubai Investments Park brings together offices, operations, research and application labs, advanced manufacturing technologies and a demonstration centre showcasing high-tech materials.
The new facility required a seamless ground slab capable of meeting strict performance expectations for laboratories, manufacturing areas and demonstration spaces. The 8,500 m² area needed a flooring system with controlled crack widths and durable behaviour, forming the f irst application of its kind in Dubai.
Dramix 4D 65/60 steel fibre reinforcement was selected to enable the seamless floor design across the 8,500 m² ground slab. The fibres supported a controlled crack-width approach, helping the project achieve its performance requirements without traditional joints. Dramix provided consistent crack control, uniform slab behaviour and long-term durability—qualities essential for Bayer Pearl’s laboratory, manufacturing and demonstration areas. The solution contributed to a clean, high-performance floor suited to the facility’s technical and operational needs.
