The Nongfu Spring Xinfeng Production Base, located in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, China, is a 21,000 m² manufacturing facility dedicated to the sorting, juice extraction, and beverage canning of navel oranges. Xinfeng, renowned as the “hometown of navel oranges in China,” was chosen for its exceptional natural conditions conducive to producing high-quality oranges. The facility, designed by China Haisum Engineering Co., Ltd., is a key component of Nongfu Spring’s operations, with an annual output exceeding 75,000 tons.
Nongfu Spring’s commitment to natural health and high product quality demanded an extraordinarily high standard for the facility’s flooring. Specifically, the owner required that the seamless floor on the second story, constructed on a steel deck, show no visible concrete cracks, with crack widths not exceeding 0.15 mm. This stringent requirement was vital to ensure the durability and aesthetics of the manufacturing hall, preventing any potential disruptions or quality issues in the production process.
To meet these exacting standards, a seamless floor on a steel deck was constructed using 4D 65/60BG steel fiber technology. The floor was designed with a thickness of 0.2 meters, using C30 grade concrete, and the steel fiber was dosed at 25 kg/m³. This approach effectively minimized crack formation and controlled crack widths within the specified limit of 0.15mm. The use of 4D steel fiber ensured the floor met the high-quality requirements of Nongfu Spring, maintaining both the structural integrity and the pristine appearance of the manufacturing hall, aligned with the company’s natural health philosophy.
