Dynamic Logistics, a leading Pune-based warehouse developer, faced recurrent concrete floor cracking, escalating maintenance costs, and negatively impacting Material Handling Equipment (MHE) functionality and warehouse aesthetics. This issue jeopardized their competitiveness in the logistics sector, where efficiency and appearance are crucial.
The customer needed a flooring solution that could support a load of 8 tons per square meter and handle 6 tons from a forklift. They aimed for a more durable option to reduce maintenance requirements. Furthermore, they sought to accelerate the construction timeline while also minimizing the project’s carbon footprint.
The solution implemented was SigmaSlab®, a seamless flooring system that integrates the benefits of Dramix®, steel fibers with CCL’s post-tensioning technology. This innovative approach eliminates joints, reduces maintenance costs, and meets all load requirements effectively. By decreasing the concrete thickness by 30 mm, we further minimized the project’s carbon footprint. Additionally, the entire floor was cast in a single day, significantly expediting the construction process.
