Industrial slab-on-grade flooring reinforced with Dramix for DEAL Logistics

DEAL Freight & Logistics expanded its operations in Dubai with a high-capacity logistics facility designed to support regional and global freight management activities while handling intensive warehousing and distribution demands.

The challenge

 

The logistics facility required a durable industrial floor capable of withstanding repetitive forklift traffic, dense storage loads and continuous operational movement. Reduced maintenance requirements and reliable long-term floor performance were critical to support uninterrupted freight handling and warehousing activities.

The solution

 

Dramix® steel fibre reinforced concrete was selected to deliver a high-performance slab-on-grade flooring solution for the logistics facility. The fibre reinforced slab improved load distribution, minimized crack formation and enhanced floor durability under demanding traffic conditions. The solution also reduced conventional reinforcement requirements while supporting efficient construction and long-term operational reliability across the warehouse environment.
