Dramix steel fibres reinforcing Marina Home’s expanding retail network

Marina Home developed a new facility in Dubai to support the operations of its premium home furnishings retail network across the Gulf region, Egypt and the Indian subcontinent.

The challenge

 

The facility required a durable slab on-grade flooring system capable of supporting daily warehousing operations and continuous material movement within a large retail distribution environment. Long-term floor performance and operational reliability were important to support ongoing logistics activities.

The solution

 

Dramix® steel fibre reinforced concrete was selected to deliver a durable slab-on-grade flooring solution for the Marina Home facility in Dubai. The fibre reinforced slab provided reliable structural performance and long-term durability for demanding warehousing operations while supporting efficient floor construction across the 14,000 m² project area.
