Affordable flooring options that are long-lasting

Mars International, famous for their delicious “Snickers” chocolate bars, is a US chocolate manufacturing company that wanted to start its manufacturing unit in Pune, Maharashtra. To this end, they needed a reliable, cost efficient and durable industrial floor.

The floor needed to meet the project’s cost restrictions as well as its durability requirements.

The solution

 

We designed a saw-cut floor solution for the manufacturing facility, using our product Dramix® 3D80/60BG at a dosage of 15kg per m³ with M30 concrete. This not only met the durability requirements, it also allowed faster construction than with rebar or mesh, which had proven to drastically reduce the construction time.
