What we do

PepsiCo’s warehouse rests on a seamless floor without a single joint.

PepsiCo continues to enhance its local business operations, innovate to serve local customers and team up with leading community organizations. In 2017, PepsiCo Thailand opens new warehouse in Saraburi, to meet the crack width requirment, Combi design was availble for 7,800 m2 warehouse.

The challenge

The project was designed under ‘crack width’ consideration. And the project required a cost effective solution which meets both ultimate and service-ability requirement. It’s difficult for convention approach to meet the requirement of the project.

PepsiCO

The solution

Bekaert applied high-performance steel fiber Dramix® 4D 65/60BG, capable of handling 140kN post load. Using a Combi design concept, we created a monolithic steel fiber slab without dilation joints. This approach minimized crack width over the large floor area and provided a cost-effective solution, ensuring both durability and efficiency.
