Yihai Kerry (Xingping) Central Kitchen Project, is a highly automated integrated food processing campus in Xingping, Shaanxi Province. As Shaanxi’s largest food deep-processing hub, the facility bridges agricultural supply chains with consumer markets, amid rising demand for standardized, high-quality meal solutions.
Structural Complexity: High density of drainage trenches, equipment foundations, and irregular corners in the central kitchen layout demanded precision in the floor design.
Ultra-Clean Production Standards: Food safety protocols required f loors without visible concrete cracks. This was critical to ensure the durability and aesthetics of the food processing facility and to prevent bacterial harborage and ensure hygiene.
Bekaert’s technical engineers provided detailed SFRC solutions tailored to the on-site conditions. Specifically, the ground floor used a saw-cut floor with a load of 2 T/m² and a thickness of 250 mm, while other floors on the second layer and above adopted a saw-cut floor with a load of 1 T/m² and a thickness of 140 mm.
The use of Dramix® 4D steel fiber differentiated flooring option ensured the floor met the high quality requirements of Yihai Kerry, maintaining both the efficiency and durability, aligned with the owner’s commitment to safety-compliant food processing industry.
